International news and achievements of StabilRoad© technology partners worldwide

StabilRoad© technology and additives have also been used by our dealers in Germany, Italy, Poland, Argentina, Japan, Thailand and other countries. StabilRoad technology continues to demonstrate its global impact by providing innovative solutions for sustainable and resilient infrastructure.

Germany

We are honored that StabilRoad© technology played an important role in the extensive reconstruction and renovation of Germany’s largest and longest highway, the Autobahn A7, between 2018 and 2022. The A7 is 962 kilometers long and is an important north-south transport corridor. Against the backdrop of increased axle loads due to the expansion of the European Union, StabilRoad© technology was used to stabilize and reconstruct more than 400 kilometers of this important route.

Italy

StabilRoad© technology played a key role in the extensive reconstruction projects of Italy’s Autostrada A1, one of the country’s most important highways. This 759-kilometer route, which stretches from Milan to Rome, benefited significantly from the durability and efficiency of StabilRoad©, underscoring its value in Italy’s critical transport infrastructure.

Poland

The quality of road construction in Poland has developed significantly in recent decades. The quality of new and renovated roads is among the best in Europe. StabilRoad© technology has played a significant role in this progress. Our partners in Poland have used StabilRoad© to stabilize the base layers, contributing to the durability and longevity of the roads built on these layers.

Argentina

StabilRoad© is proud to be able to contribute to the extensive infrastructure rehabilitation projects in the Buenos Aires region. In addition to road construction, our technology supports the development of large industrial areas in green areas. Buenos Aires has a humid subtropical climate with temperatures ranging up to 43 °C in summer and -5 °C in winter. StabilRoad© performs consistently under these extreme conditions, ensuring a durable infrastructure.

Japan

StabilRoad© technology is recognized for its contribution to high quality infrastructure projects in Japan. In the seismically active Yokohama area, our technology has been used in the rehabilitation and reuse of industrial areas, port facilities and road networks. Japan’s infrastructure requires earthquake resistance, and the unmatched quality of StabilRoad© provides the necessary safety and durability.

Thailand

StabilRoad© technology has been used in numerous projects in Thailand, including the construction of new highways in the Buri Ram region, resulting in state-of-the-art infrastructure. More than 480 kilometers of highways have been built in various provinces, including Chiang Mai and Nakhon Ratchasima, improving the quality of life in rural areas. In the Bangkok metropolitan area, our rapid full-asphalt resurfacing technique allows roads to be reopened to traffic within 12 hours, improving access to hospitals and increasing road safety. This approach significantly reduces the carbon footprint of road construction, minimizes traffic congestion and improves air quality, especially in densely populated areas like Bangkok.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands national highway extension

Andaman and Nicobar Islands national highway extension

In 2019, a new and ambitious national highway project was launched in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India. The aim of the project was to improve traffic safety and road durability, especially given the islands’ harsh climate and monsoon seasons, which bring intense rainfall and difficult weather conditions. Andaman and Nicobar Islands are known for their beautiful yet challenging landscape. The area’s road infrastructure is vital to the development of the local community and tourism.

The project used StabilRoad® technology, which was used to widen a road approximately 55 kilometers long and 5.5 meters wide. The first road section was completed in 2019, after which extensive testing and monitoring was carried out. The results of the testing were very positive, so it was decided to complete the construction of the entire road using the StabilRoad® method. The project was completed by March 2021.

The widening of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands National Highway was a successful project that demonstrated the benefits of using StabilRoad® technology. Thanks to StabilRoad® technology, the national road of the islands is now stronger and more durable, offering a safe and comfortable traffic option for the residents and visitors of the islands.

Stabilization and asphalting of Kerala national highway

Stabilization and asphalting of Kerala national highway

In March 2018, extensive renovation work was carried out on the national highway in the Kerala region. The main goal of the project was to improve the quality of roads and extend their service life by applying environmentally friendly and sustainable technologies. Kerala is also known for its harsh weather conditions, including heavy rains and hot temperatures. These conditions significantly affect the quality and durability of roads.

During the project, the existing pavement material was stabilized and reused. The project focused on reusing existing material to improve the road’s durability and quality. This process involved thoroughly mixing and stabilizing the existing pavement using the StabilRoad® method to create a strong and durable base. The stabilized area was then covered with a new layer of asphalt, which ensured the long-term durability and quality of the road surface.

The stabilization and asphalting of the Kerala National Highway was a successful project that demonstrated the benefits of using StabilRoad® technology. Thanks to StabilRoad® technology, the Kerala road is now significantly more durable and in a better condition, providing a safe and comfortable traffic option for local residents and visitors.

Construction of a technical highway in the Krasnodar region for heavy cargo

Construction of a technical highway in the Krasnodar region for heavy cargo

In July 2015, an ambitious road project was started in Krasnodar Krai, the purpose of which was to build a technical road for extremely heavy goods for the construction of the Kerch bridge. This project was an important step in the development of the region’s infrastructure, providing the necessary infrastructure for the transportation of large and heavy construction materials.

During the project, a road about 40 kilometers long and 12 meters wide was widened. In order for the road to be able to withstand the movement of heavy loads, the existing road surface material (fine clay sand) was stabilized with cement and StabilRoad® additive. The thickness of the stabilized layer was 40 cm, which ensured sufficient stability and strength of the road. This was especially important considering the purpose of the road for transporting extremely heavy goods during the construction of the Kerch Bridge.

The construction of the technical road in the Krasnodar region was an important step in the development of the region’s infrastructure, providing a strong and durable road for the transportation of goods necessary for the construction of the Kerch bridge. The successful completion of the project proved the efficiency and durability of StabilRoad® technology for large and complex construction projects. Thanks to the successful implementation of the StabilRoad® method, the road is now much more durable and user-friendly, showing how environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions can significantly improve the quality and durability of infrastructure.
